BBDO and Visual Goodness bring the "Impossible" to the iPad
April 2011 BBDO asked us to build a content hub Facebook app for FedEx that uses FedEx packages for the user interface. What started as a Flash module integrated into the Facebook application framework got super interesting when we proposed an iPad-friendly version. Our visual solution was originally dismissed as impossible to execute on the iPad without Flash.
Our response: Who needs Flash? We turned to Webkit, CSS3 and javascript to create slick 3D transformations and animation effects. Thanks to a great collaborative partnership with BBDO, the result was a well-integrated, rich media module that seamlessly overcame the lack of Flash on the iPad.
Mark & Me, Eli & I, VG & Saatchi
September 2010 Visual Goodness worked with Saatchi & Saatchi NY's Toyota Dealer Association team to create the digital components of Toyota's NY Giants and NY Jets sponsorship campaign, featuring star quarterbacks Eli Manning and Mark Sanchez.
The sites were designed to give fans a chance to literally create a memory with their favorite quarterback. The next best thing to hanging out with Eli Manning or Mark Sanchez is having a photo that looks like you did. And Toyota's "Eli & I" and "Mark & Me" sites give fans a chance to create that photo.
In the companion sites, "Jets Fans Rock" and "Giants Fans Rock," it's Eli and Mark's turns to thank the fans directly, with a video that dynamically inserts the fan's name and image into an over-the-top thank you celebration at the stadium.
Production included a shoot on location in the New Meadowlands Stadium, along with two studio green screen shoots with the quarterbacks, and all post and finishing.

If you don't have a web cam, you will get a smartly-placed default banner -- so make sure your web cam is on!
