We worked tightly with the GSD&M creative team to devise a site experience for the “It’s Not Science Fiction, It’s What We Do Everyday” recruitment campaign. What started out as a campaign minisite was awesome enough to be quickly promoted to the homepage. The results were impressive: Adviser Chats and video views skyrocketed and homepage exit rates dropped.
Based on the 3 broadcast spots, we designed an online experience that brought those worlds into a new, multifaceted and interactive reality. Lunar landscapes became content rich lunar worlds, forest scenes became interactive theaters, and the Space Command control room became a dimensional hall and navigation hub.
We designed and developed around 3 sections housing 10+ interactive scenes which were rebuilt from the broadcast assets. They utilized over 36 content pieces within the scenes (videos, games, and demos), yet we were able to develop a smooth experience with little-to-no wait time on loads between sections.
In all, we were tasked with design, UX, asset creation, Flash development, production, sound, and a continuing set of rich media takeover banners. Contact us to see more.
