Subaru “Get More G’s” 3D
Screaming tennis ball skull, why are you so awesome? Perhaps because it effectively tells the world what the Subaru WRX is about. Too many cool creative ideas cease to be cool when they get to the execution phase. What Visual Goodness does exceptionally well is take a cool idea from the high level, and through our nerdiness and passion, create an awesome and innovative experience! And for a banner animation to be elevated to a campaign centerpiece, it had to be REALLY awesome!
When Carmichael Lynch engaged us for banner executions on the WRX Get More Gs campaign, we took what was supposed to be a simple Flash banner animation and blew it out into an intense CG screaming tennis ball skull. The results were so impressive that it became the iconic visual that was used throughout the campaign—a rare case of an interactive banner creative leading other campaign executions—but not so rare for Visual Goodness.
